BISCOT is competitive and certificates are awarded in Gold, Silver-gilt, Silver and Bronze categories.
The unique Mary Mendum Medal may also be awarded for an exhibit of exceptional quality. Each artist must exhibit a minimum of 6 works. |

Exhibition: ‘Florilegium: a gathering of flowers’
Works from 4 contemporary artists and 40 Botanical artists Venue: Inverleith House Dates: 16th October to December 13th 2020 Hours: Open daily from 10.30am, Inverleith House. Last admission to the exhibition is 4.15pm in October and 3.15pm November – December. Free entry. Please book your time slot to enter the Garden. The biennial exhibition is the first of a new programme as Inverleith House begins its transformation into Climate House, following the award of Outset Contemporary Art Fund’s Transformative Grant. New and existing works by contemporary artists Lee Mingwei, Annalee Davis, Wendy McMurdo and Lyndsay Mann join over 40 established botanical illustrators such as Mieko Ishikawa, Dianne Sutherland and Sansanee Deekrajang in "Florilegium: A gathering of flowers" at Inverleith House, in the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. |
