UPDATE Course Details

PLEASE NOTE: I ONLY list COURSES taught by experienced botanical artists who are teaching in independent premises and not in their own homes. This is because of the Regulatory requirements relating to all businesses - including teaching - which involve contact with the public. Independent premises on the same land as your home do qualify for listing.
All places listed
  • MUST operate as a proper venue for the public and/or business
  • AND meet all regulatory consents, permissions, requirements and standards for business premises with public (students) on the premises (e.g. third party liability and public liability insurance for public access, Health & Safety Certificates; approved planning permission etc, tax status as business premises.
  • SPECIFICALLY IT MUST BE COVID SECURE.  I expect all places providing courses to be aware of and practice appropriate covid secure practices for the location of the venue and the origins of the students attending - and for tutors to know what these are.
Your very active tuition business on the same site as where you live will qualify for listing ONLY IF
  • it has separate premises (i.e. INDEPENDENT from your home) and a seperate entrance.
  • the business premises have appropriate insurance for business purposes (remember businesses run at home invalidate domestic insurance!)
  • the business premises meet all regulatory Health and Safety / insurance / planning permission / tax requirements for the public being present on trading premises (click the link to find out more)
  • you provide an image of the venue - or one can be viewed on the relevant website
If you are a tutor who thinks you have a course which could be listed please note:
  • you need to be included in the International Directory: Botanical Art Tutors in your own country (see separate page) BEFORE any courses are listed - and I only list experienced tutors.
  • PLEASE MAKE CLEAR WHICH YEAR YOUR COURSE RELATES TO. Due to current pandemic surges, I'm thinking of creating an additional page - just for 2022 courses - so people can plan ahead and prospective students can see what's on offer after this year.  Please be specific about year.
