Blogs about botanical art
and/or by
botanical artists & illustrators

Blogging about botanical art historically has tended to be something done by younger botanical artists.

Blogs by artists can often be very informative as to the practice of botanical painting as well as sometimes chatty about the natures of life as an artist.

Recent Trends:
  • A number of art societies, notably the ASBA have begun to appreciate the value of a blog for promoting botanical art and publicising exhibitions.
  • Another recent trend is for botanical artists who also teach to use a blog to demonstrate what their classes are like and what sort of work gets produced in them

The blogs below are categorised according to the organisation or ranking of the artist who publishes them.
