The next exhibition celebrates the 60th anniversary of the founding of the International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration series in 1964.

Dates
: 2024 (in the Fall/Autumn - dates to be confirmed)
Venue: Hunt Institute of Botanical Documentation - G
allery on the 5th floor of the Hunt Library building at Carnegie Mellon University.
Who: Eligible artists are all botanical fine artists and illustrators whose:
  • work has achieved a standard of excellence and
  • who have not yet been represented in the International series. 
What: excellent botanical artwork in any medium on paper or vellum (except photography) 

Venue: Hunt Institute of Botanical Documentation,

​Botanical artists are invited to enter original artwork not previously exhibited in a Filoli Botanical Art Exhibition in any two-dimensional medium that reflects the rich tradition of botanical art and adheres to high standards of botanical accuracy. Prints or engravings will not be accepted.

(Part of the Worldwide Exhibition of Botanical Art)

A botanical art juried exhibition featuring native plants of Canada. This is a ground-breaking opportunity to put the best of Canadian botanical art on the national and international stage.  

Venue: Canadian Museum of Nature – Stone Wall Gallery, Ottawa, Ontario
Dates: Opening  May 2018
Eligibility:  Open to all Canadian artists subject only to being a citizen or permanent resident in Canada and not having artwork in any of the other national exhibitions
Deadline for Entries: Midnight (EST) on January 15th, 2018

Subject matter: Plant species native to Canada, defined as:
 Any wild plant indigenous to Canada, including natural hybrids, but excluding any cultivar, man-made hybrids, and naturalized exotics. Lichens, mosses, and fungi are also eligible as subjects.
